Ο Ανδρέας Πανταζής γεννήθηκε στους Χράνους του Νομού Αρκαδίας το 1947. Σπούδασε αγγλική γλώσσα και κοινωνικές επιστήμες. Εργάζεται στην Αθήνα, ως καθηγητής της αγγλικής, στο Κέντρο Ξένων Γλωσσών που διευθύνει. Έχει συγγράψει ποιητικές συλλογές, πεζό λόγο, μελέτες και θέατρο.
